Walker knows the ins and outs of running a successful business. The owner of a boutique health and wellness studio which he sold in 2011, he now runs the operations and manages new business for Joyous Health. He is the most organized person we know! He is also the co-creator of Eat Clean Body Lean, an online fitness & nutrition program. He has a love of shiny fast cars and he can make Brussels sprouts taste like heaven.

Michelle has been teaching since 2007. She is a graduate of the YogaSpace teacher training program, and has also completed her yin training with Bernie Clark. Infused with inspiration and hands-on adjustments, Michelle brings her warm and friendly personality to her yoga classes. Creating a safe space in her classes where students can release, get out of their heads and more into their hearts. Michelle and Joy have been teaching EWFW together for three years.
Carol makes all of our Joyous Health creative look joyous! She is passionate about typography and colour and is a perfectionist with a keen eye for detail. When she’s not designing, she’s usually baking. Recently, Carol has found a new passion for health and nutrition and has been spending most of her time in her kitchen learning to cook—she also has a slight obsession with purchasing cookbooks and juicing.
Michael, a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in the Science of Human Behaviour, has been a life skills coach for over 30 years. His company, Sound Coaching, (www.soundcoaching.ca) offers coaching in several areas. To his practice Michael brings compassion, empathy and the ability to support his clients in a manner that enables them to live their lives to the fullest.

Nicholas joins the Joyous Health team as our Photographer and Videographer. Nicholas has been a part of the world of photography from a very young age, taking his first photo at the age of 6, then becoming an avid learner and collector of cameras (he has too many to count). His company, Lightshack helps start-up small business’ explore their stories through photography and video.. His passion for technology and eye for composition drives him to produce quality images, be it still or moving. When he’s not the eye behind the lens, he’s constantly learning new skills. You’ll get to see Nicholas’ mouth-watering food photography in my new book, Joyous Health!

Adam is so gosh darn cheerful and an absolute fountain of youthful knowledge in the world of nutritional supplements and sports nutrition. He is Joy’s right hand man in Eat Well Feel Well and lends his knowledge every class by reviewing all the food journals of students who take our course. A graduate of the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Adam also has a background in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues.

Kate is our resident joyously self-professed research nerd. Kate is a Toronto-based student of holistic nutrition, yoga teacher, and health and wellness writer. She is a passionate advocate of integrative approaches to wellness and believes in making the journey to lasting health and wellness as straightforward, sustainable and enjoyable an experience as possible.
