A six-week holistic nutrition & yoga program designed to help you create a healthier body and mind in a peaceful and beautiful space.
You will be empowered and inspired every class to improve your relationship with food and yourself. All levels welcome (yoga newbies – experienced yogis welcome).
- When: Six Tuesday evenings in a row starting April 10-May 15th, 2012, 6:30-9:00pm (See more class dates below)

By the end of 6 weeks you will…
- Learn how to eat mindfully and improve your eating habits
- Gain insight into how the food choices you make everyday impact your emotions, your mental health and your body
- Become aware of your body and gain confidence, strength and mobility with yoga
- Enjoy a good sweat and deep stretch while reducing anxiety and anxious eating
- Be inspired, motivated, feel confident that you have the knowledge to make healthier decisions

How It Works:
1 hour: Inspiring nutrition session with Registered Holistic Nutritionist Joy McCarthy
1.5 hours: Rejuvenating and detoxifying yoga session with Certified Yoga teacher Michelle Uy
Summary of EAT WELL FEEL WELL sessions:
You will be required to complete a weekly food journal to hand in. Each week we will take about 10 minutes at the beginning of class to review how you are doing.

BIOS – YOUR TEACHERS:
Joy McCarthy is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist & Health Coach. She has been inspiring and empowering people to make healthier foods choices with her writing for That’s Fit, MTV Canada, Naturally Savvy plus more, speaking to corporations on healthy eating and one-on-one consultations with clients from around the entire globe. She has a knack for taking complicated nutrition information and delivering it in a fun and easy going style that you will enjoy, have fun with and learn from.
Michelle Uy is a Certified Yoga Teacher at Yoga Space, 889 Yonge, Sukha and more. She is also certified to teach Yoga Thrive, a yoga program specifically designed for cancer survivors. Michelle is a Health and Wellness Writer for That’s Fit, an AOL website dedicated to Health and Fitness. Michelle’s classes are like a dance moving moving gracefully from one posture to the next. She brings her glowing personality to each and every class. You will be inspired by her!
