This morning as I was sitting in Tori’s Bakeshop sipping on an almond milk cappuccino, writing my book (only 27,500 words to go!) and I stumbled across this awesome Dr. Seuss infographic from Mind Body Green.
How did I come across it? Well, I was searching for my favourite Dr. Seuss quote to include in the introduction section of my book

Dr Suess! How I love his wise, funny, beautiful mind. I think the Lorax message and quotes are vital to help teach each new generation about the value of helping the planet. I think grouping #21, and #28 together, makes a great set. It is a book in a few sentences! What really speaks to my heart are the empowerment quotes. As a child growing up in an abusive home, I found hope in Dr. Suess’ words. I wasn’t too sure #1 was a great thing, but I sure loved #30. Dr. Suess became a mentor to me while growing up. I can’t pick a favourite quote. I can only say that as I go through my life, certain quotes are more important than others. I thank this smart man for sharing what was in his soul. Children’s books for all ages! I plan on giving him a big hug upstairs someday. Thanks for sharing your beautiful sunshine once again Joy.

I love Dr. Seuss! My favorite to read growing up. Number 15 really caught my eye… “Everything stinks until it’s finished”… I think I get where that one is going but found it kind of de-motivating.

Love these! Having a 3 1/2 yr old in the house we read lots of Dr. Suess in our house and we both love reading his books. Many of the sentences in these books have caught my eye to be great quotes for little ones and everyone to understand and live by.
