Good day all, I have joyous things to share with you! Lots has been going on these last few weeks…
I have been creating yummylicious dishes such as raw chocolate chip granola bars, mouth watering pesto for omega 3 brainy baked fish, gluten-free chocolate chip muffins (but you’ll have to wait till next week for those, they will be posted on AOL) and more! I moved into a new condo, which makes me smile because the kitchen is completely joyous and my pink kitchenaid mixer has made a home right beside my lovely oven. Yes small things excite me. As well, I’ve been writing and posting some client health issues and simple natural solutions. I’m so thrilled to share it with you because I know that someone out there in cyberspace will benefit. So here goes!
- Read about my client Josh had never been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disorder, but he was convinced something was wrong as he was often on a cycle of one week constipation and the next week diarrhea. Here’s how we solved his bowel troubles: http://www.thatsfit.ca/2010/03/18/digestive-problems-3-tips-to-combat-constipation-and-gluten-sen/
- AOL asked me to “define health”, from a Nutritionist POV – this might make you YAWN, but give it a glance because you may be surprised to learn that health isn’t merely the absence of disease. I share with you exactly what it means to have joyous health: http://www.thatsfit.ca/2010/03/16/is-good-health-merely-the-absence-of-disease-no/
- OUCH, sting, OUCH. If you are like my client who suffered from mouth ulcers, then I have fabulous news for you. There are natural solutions to these little buggers that make you talk like you have a golfball in your mouth. Joy, I love all your recipes. I can’t wait to make these raw granola bars. My kids loved your raw cookies, are these similar?
Yes, they are very similar… but these granola bars have raw chocolate nibs, so they are a little crunchier. I would use these as a treat as opposed to a daily snack.
Hi Joy, can I get root vegetables local in Ontario right now? I didn’t know I could. If so, I’m going to try your recipe. It looks healthy and good. Thanks!
I forward your recipes to my clients all the time. Your website is a really great resource. Thanks for sharing all this information Joy.
