When you wake up in the morning, boil some filtered water and squeeze half an organic lemon. Do this again in the afternoon or before dinner. The most straightforward tip – but so, so beneficial! Every day I start with lemon water is a good day!
Lemon water is also really alkalising in the body (due to its magnesium, potassium & calcium content and very low sugar) so you get the double hit – liver cleansing and pH balancing!

I did the lemon juice diet just after Christmas and I certainly needed it. It certainly cleans out your digestive system.
Thanks for this tip. You suggested boiling the water. Does this have the same effect with cold filtered water?
I love to have lemon water first thing in the morning but I was told by my dentist that it would eventually wear down my tooth enamel and once it is gone it is gone. Do you know of any tricks that would counteract this side effect?
